In an effort to improve office efficiency and patient communication, we will start using a new digital engagement platform called Klara.
With Klara, we hope to reduce the frustrating game of phone tag and allow for text style communication between patients and office staff for appointment reminders, results, as well as appointment and refill requests. There will also be an opportunity for self-scheduling and online/mobile payment options for balances owed.
To ensure proper communication, please make sure that we have your cell phone as your preferred contact method. When calling into the office, you can press an option to begin using Klara to text instead of continuing to talk. After the initial set up on your end, future engagement can be directly with the messaging option.
Klara can be accessed through a widget on our website in the future or it can be downloaded from the App Store for your phone or accessed at https://patient.klara.com/#/login.
There will still be an opportunity for live interactions on the phone for those who prefer to call and talk.
