Covid-19 Policy update June 2020

Hunterdon Dermatology, LLC has experienced the same devastating setbacks as most businesses, individuals and families with Covid-19 changing the way we interact socially and professionally.

Since June 2020, we have been available for in-office visits as well as scheduled TeleHealth patient interactions using cell phones, ipads and clinical applications to meet our patient’s needs. The fee for TeleHealth visits will be the regular office charges. This fee is currently reimbursable by most insurances just as an in-office visit would be reimbursed, although we should assume out-of-network issues may apply. The rates are meant to be fair and not create a hardship. We will be on a time-limited basis for TeleHealth and in-office visits.

For those patients utilizing in person office visits since the Covid-19 restrictions, many changes to our operations will be in place starting June 2020. As you may have experienced in other offices, all patients will be screened for illness and active fever. Starting April 1, 2023 masks will be optional during your visit to Hunterdon Dermatology, LLC. We will attempt to limit your time spent in the waiting room and focus your time to our exam rooms.

If you have recently had a temperature greater than 100.0 F, new cough, shortness of breath, hypoxia, sore throat, fatigue, muscle aches, diarrhea or loss of taste or smell, please cancel your in-office visit and schedule a TeleHealth visit.

Although your office experience may be different than before Covid-19, the care, concern and focused attention from the team will be as expected.

Instructions for TeleHealth are available by contacting the office to coordinate the process by phone.
